Reality Show Offers Green Card as Incentive

Whoa! I swear the news blows my mind. Everyday something new comes out that’s unforeseen and so outrageous, you wonder where reality and fantasy divide. This new development in the immigration issue depicts the desperation of the people who are trying to come here in droves as a joke. In their grey matter are dreams of a happiness and stability they think they can only achieve on American soil. They use these lies to fuel their resolve to cross the border and dare death and imprisonment to catch them if they can. In the meantime, they seem to be unaware of the fact that this country will demean and exploit the majority of its people before anyone can see their sweat stained dollars amount to anything more than a roof over their heads, clothes on their backs and a few American dollar to send home. The “prize” they’re awarded--a chance at becoming American--is parallel to the hopes and dreams of millions of natural born Americans who take a chance at becoming wealthy. They’re better off saving their money, obtaining their educations and going back home to build a life. The immigrant is so not ready for what America has in store for them.

The Immigrant; funny how the word “immigrant” has become just another word for “Mexican.”
