France's Sarkozy vows tough line against rioters

I can’t hate on Sarkozy wanting to find the people who brought guns into the fray, that’s expected. I have to note the differences between his reactions to the rioters as opposed to the way America would handle this situation. His comment, “no matter how dramatic the deaths of these two youngsters on a motorbike may be” connotes that he realizes that the anger of the people holds some validity, as opposed to, say, Kathleen Blanco comments during Katrina: “These troops are battle-tested. They have M16s and are locked and loaded," she said. "These troops know how to shoot and kill and I expect they will." Interesting…
