Rev Yearwood was tackled by capitol hill police while waiting on line to hear the testimony of General "Betrayus" Petraeus. He was accosted and detained for no apparent reason except for maybe a button he wore that said something like "I like Iraqis." They broke his leg. In an unrelated incident, a UF student had the gall and audacity to ask John Kerry if he and Bush were brothers in the Skull and Bones. He too was tackled by the police and tasered for his efforts. Both videos can be found on the side bar of this page for your viewing pleasure. I don't know which incident disturbed me more. Neither person was given a choice. They were told to either go with the police or be arrested. I don't know what the difference is. Even the boy in the video yells "If you would let me go, I'd walk out of here." Neither party was told why they were singled out. Being a law abiding citizen, I would want to know as well. I would want to know why I have to stop what I'm doing to go with you. I mean, it doesn't take a full dissertation to tell a person why it is they are being singled out. In the Yearwood case, they told him that he skipped the line. He did not skip the line and there were other people on the line who backed up his account. It should have been done. Yet they still wanted him to "go" with them. Where? Why? What's the problem? Possibly, it was his button. His button wasn't hurting anybody. It just expressed how he feels. Who would be physically hurt by it? Petraeus? Probably. The way the Fox Channel cabal has been going on and on about the MoveOn.or Ad, you'd think the general in charge of the Iraqi war was some bitch-made pansy in a dress. He's senskative. No wonder they can't get a handle on the Iraqi situation. This war was supposed to be easy, but I guess with Petraeus nursing his emotional wounds at every turn, they can't get a damned thing done. But I digress dammit. Just check out the attack on a body's freedom of speech. Unfortunately I see this as prelude to the Orwellian society we had better prepare ourselves for.
