Highlight: Years before civil rights activist Cleveland Sellers got caught up in the deadly 1968 protest known as the Orangeburg Massacre, he was on the path to the elite rank of Eagle Scout - until his paperwork was lost. Full Story
I don’t know the importance of being an Eagle Scout and frankly, I don’t care. But I was glad to be introduced to the historical item that makes Cleveland Sellers Relevant. I’m sure if the good people at the Post would read the aforementioned, they’d take great pains not to feature a story of this nature ever again. Instead of diffusing a powerful individual by subliminally inferring that even an “militant” can reform and become a “boy scout”, they’ve brought yet another example of supremacist injustice to light.
